A genetically altered assassin takes on his former masters in this sci-fi action thriller from director John Stead. I.S.A.A.C. (Intuitive Synthetic Autonomous Assault Commando), played by Rich Franklin, is a former death-row inmate who has been reconstructed to become the prototype of a secretly funded government assassin programme. Now the ultimate killing machine, I.S.A.A.C. is capable of regenerating both his body and his mind. Deciding to break out of his creators' top secret base in order to expose the programme to the public, the cyborg takes Deputy Lindsay Rearden (Tiffani Thiessen) hostage to gain media exposure. But I.S.A.A.C.'s plans quickly come off the rails when the pair find themselves being hunted by robotic engineer Simon Hart (Bruce Greenwood) and his crack team of lethally armed henchmen. |
