| Beskrivelse:
Feature adaptation of the biblical tale of Saul and David. Saul (Norman Wooland) is the first ruler of the Kingdom of Israel and the film opens with Samuel (Carlos Casaravilla) warning the young king that his disobedience to Jehovah has ensured that he will soon be usurped. The increasing prominence of David (Gianni Garko) at court is initially welcomed by Saul, who takes him under his wing, but is David the future king of whom Samuel prophesied? |
