Welcome to the most demanding commando training programme in the world. The United States Navy SEALs (SEa, Air and Land teams), the US Navy s special operations force, are some of the most highly trained military operatives in the world. Specialising in reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, hostage rescue and unconventional warfare, the SEALs are used to performing in the toughest of conditions. When the men of Class 234 begin Basic Underwater Demolition (SEAL-BUD/s) training, they have the toughest six months of their life ahead of them. They have been selected from over 1,500 applicants, but by the time Class 234 graduates, only 32 will remain to become US Navy SEALs. This series takes viewers behind a structured world of sacrifice designed to force BUD/s students to the limits of their physical and emotional endurance.
