Legendary actor Roger Moore stars as debonair playboy Simon Templar in the series that made him a global star. Network will be releasing a fourteen-disc, forty-seven episode set containing all of the colour series (the original series three and four) from The Saint's eight-year run.
Simon Templar is a near modern-day Robin Hood. Exciting and dashing, he steals from the dastardly and corrupt and fleeces them with a clever combination of his trickery and trademark charm. It's a dangerous game, and he has to stay one step ahead of the police - particularly Inspector Claude Eustace Deal. But with his suave charm, panache, The Saint proves to be one cool customer.
This landmark TV series still resonates with all the charm as it did when it was first shown in the Swinging Sixties and contains memorable guest appearances from actors Francesca Annis, Ronnie Barker, Barry Morse, Edward Woodward, Kate O'Mara and Stephanie Beacham.
