When a massive earthquake brings devastation to California LA Fire Department helicopter pilot Ray Gaines (Johnson) rescues his soon-to-be ex-wife Emma (Gugino) and the two make their way to San Fransisco in an attempt to save their daughter Blake (Daddario), but their journey is full of unimaginable dangers.
