Mexican cannibal horror drama. When their good-for-nothing, whoring, debt-ridden husband/father dies in supremely undignified circumstances, a long-suffering wife and her teenage children are left to fend for themselves. But this is no ordinary family: they live as cannibals, and as their fractured family falls inexorably to pieces in the wake of Papa's death they must also take on the responsibilities of the ritual hunting and butchering that puts their meat on the table. |
