As the season begins, Berg (Ryan Reynolds) is horrified to learn that he s no longer top of his class so sets out to sabotage the new #1 student, only to end up dating her. But has he met his match in Ashley? Pete, meanwhile, decides that architecture is no longer the career for him, leading to a special appearance by hit band Barenaked Ladies and Sharon meets the love of her life in the form of jukebox repair man Johnny (played by Nathan Fillion) but with families, female friends and Pete getting in the way, will the relationship survive? Cue dramatic cliff hanger...
