Treachery and intrigue beset two brothers in this historical Chinese drama directed by Daniel Lee. As the influence of the imperial Qin dynasty wanes, brothers Liu Bang (Leon Lai) and Xiang Yu (Shaofeng Feng) lead a rebel army loyal to King Huai of Chu (Huinan Zhao). Seeing a chance to divide and rule his loyal lieutenants, the King promises that the brother who seizes control of the weakened kingdom shall be installed as the new Lord Qin. As expected, each brother wastes no time in trying to outdo the other, and as the bitter rivalry intensifies, there seems no limits to the lengths that each will go to in order to get their hands on the prize. |
