Based on Astrid Lindgren's famous book Mio, my Son, this exciting and fantastical film follows Bosse (Nicholas Pickard) on his journey to find the father he'd never known.
In a mystical turn of events, Bosse is re-united with his father, 'The King of the Land of Faraway' and renamed 'Prince Mio' before continuing his horse ridden adventure through the Forest of Mysteries.
With the aid of a magic cloak crafted by the Weaver Woman (Susannah York), Mio prevails in a true conquest of good over evil as he brings the Evil Knight Kato to his demise.
