Frank Falenczyk (Ben Kingsley) er gangster og medlem af en polsk mafiafamilie i Buffalo, New York. Han har et seriøst alkoholproblem og bringer en dag sin familie i fare under udførelsen af et job. Hans onkel sender ham til San Francisco for at blive tørlagt, og Frank begynder her at gå til møder hos Anonyme Alkoholikere og møder den rapkæftede Laurel (Cory Cassidy). Frank Falenczyk (Ben Kingsley) is a hit man for the Polish mob in Buffalo, New York. While he loves his job, he loves the bottle even more. However, when his drinking starts interfering with family business, he's sent to to San Francisco to dry out, where he meets a kooky AA sponsor (Luke Wilson) and a potential girlfriend (Téa Leoni). Life is good on the West Coast until more urgent matters force him to return home. |
